Most of what’s written about Microsoft 365 falls into one of two camps: vendor marketing, or documentation. Neither is much use when you’re actually trying to roll something out, make a decision, or explain it to someone who has to sign off on it. M365 Savvy exists for the space in between.

I write about what happens when AI meets governance. Not as an abstract idea, as something that shows up constantly in real deployments. AI doesn’t create governance problems. It exposes them. Oversharing that was always there. Access that was never quite right. Retention policies nobody revisited. Copilot just makes it visible faster.

This site is where I work through that, in the open. Copilot adoption, Purview and information protection, security configuration, and the practical governance questions that get skipped when everyone’s focused on rolling out features. It’s written for IT professionals, architects and technical decision-makers who are doing the work, not just reading about it.

Day to day, I deliver workshops, technical enablement sessions and partner education across Microsoft 365, Copilot, Purview and security. What ends up here comes out of that: patterns I keep seeing, lessons from actual deployments, and the questions people ask once the demo’s over and the real environment is in front of them.
